One platform for staff development and student programmes

Institutions usually end up with one system for students and another, informal one, for staff. Running both in the same platform is mostly a question of whether the platform can keep them properly apart, which is the same problem as running an academy per client.

Why us for this sector

Zillion eLearning has been building training for this sector since 2011, with 7,300 hours of eLearning delivered worldwide. ZillionLMS is the platform that came out of doing it.

What makes it hard

The part that actually
gets in the way

Two audiences, one budget

Staff development and student programmes rarely justify two systems, but they cannot share a single undifferentiated space.

Programmes have an order

A curriculum is a sequence. A flat list of courses is not a programme.

Reporting is asked for late

Somebody wants completion by cohort, by department, by term, usually the week it is due.

What ZillionLMS does

How the platform
handles it

  • A workspace per institution, faculty or department, separated from the others
  • Learning paths that sequence a programme, with each step unlocking as the last one passes
  • Your own material uploaded as SCORM, video, PDF or PowerPoint, in one catalogue
  • The AI course builder for turning existing notes into a structured course quickly
  • Reports by cohort, course or learner, scheduled by email rather than requested each time
  • English and Urdu throughout, including the learner interface

Before you ask

Common questions

Can staff and students be kept apart?

Yes. Separate workspaces mean separate learners, courses and reports, with an administrator in each and consolidated reporting for whoever needs it.

Does it replace a student information system?

No, and it does not try to. It handles learning, tracking and certification. Anything to do with admissions, fees or records belongs in the system built for that.

Can we build courses from existing material?

Yes. Upload it directly if it is already a course, or describe it and have the AI builder produce a structured draft with lessons, quizzes and narration that you then edit.
